Seeking his second PGA TOUR victory at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, Australia’s Min Woo Lee started the final round as co-leader after three consecutive rounds of 66. However he was bettered by 24 year old Tom Kim, who grabbed the co leaders with a final round 64 to finish on 263 (-17). Min Woo Lee was in sole second (265/-15).

It was a great warm up for the world’s best as the lead up event to The Open Championship which starts this week at Royal Birkdale.

It was Tom Kim’s fourth PGA TOUR victory in 111th PGA TOUR starts and he joins Si Woo Kim (4) for the second-most wins on TOUR of a player from South Korea (most: 8 / K.J. Choi). He also becom the first player from South Korea to win the Genesis Scottish Open.

Kim led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee To Green (12.220) and was the only player bogey-free for the final round. He earned 500 FedExCup points and moves from No. 58 to No. 32 in the FedExCup standings and was projected to move from No. 66 to No. 32 in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Apart from Min Woo Lee, the other two third-round co-leaders were 2024 Genesis Scottish Open champion Robert MacIntyre and five-time PGA TOUR winner Matt Fitzpatrick. They finished T3 with Keita Nakajima and Johnny Keefler on 267 (-13)

30-time PGA TOUR winner and 2023 Genesis Scottish Open winner Rory McIIroy (T7/-12) has finished T7 or better in all four starts at the event (Won/2023, T4/2024, T2/2025, T7/2026).

Five-time PGA TOUR winner Chris Gotterup finished T11 at 10-under 270 in his Genesis Scottish Open title defence.

The Genesis Scottish Open was the final event of The Open Qualifying Series (OQS) with three spots available into next week’s 154th Open at Royal Birkdale Golf Club. The three nonexempt players who secured their spot to Royal Birkdale Golf Club were Johnny Keefer (T3/-13), Michael Thorbjornsen (T7/-12) and Victor Perez (T9/-11).
